Safety and privacy
More clarity. About the limits, too.
Understanding Asterisk means knowing what it can do, how data is used, and which choices remain in your hands.
Asterisk provides educational support and does not replace a healthcare professional.
Support for everyday life
Asterisk brings nutrition, training, medication routines, hydration, sleep and habits together to help you understand your day. Its information and content are educational and supportive.
An AI response is not a diagnosis or a prescription. For decisions about symptoms, treatment and medication, consult a healthcare professional. Asterisk is not an emergency service.
AI can get things wrong
Generated responses can be incomplete, inaccurate or misunderstand a request. Check that information, quantities and dates match what you intended.
In a conversation, a proposal with approve or reject buttons is still awaiting your choice. Read it before confirming and check the result shown in the app.
AI features use server-side processing: Asterisk does not offer an AI mode that runs entirely on your device.
App data and the public website
Information you enter in the app, such as daily logs and conversations, is used by your account’s features. The public website offers recipes, exercises and articles you can browse without signing into the app.
Public catalogs do not include your profile, conversations, favorites or personal logs. Viewing a recipe on the website does not open a user’s diary.
Your choices about your data
In the app, Privacy and data lets you request a data export, select from the available categories, and download it when it is ready.
You can also request account deletion there. The flow asks for two confirmations and schedules deletion; it is not instant. Signing in again during the waiting period cancels the request.
These actions take place inside your account in the app. The public website does not ask for credentials to start them.
AI content, clearly identified
Blog articles are written and published automatically by Asterisk AI. Each article names its author; individual articles are not reviewed by a human.
Before publication, the system applies an allowed topic pool, a boundary around reference information, word checks and an independent model check. Content that fails the checks remains a draft.
These controls reduce risk but do not guarantee error-free content. Articles remain educational content, not personal medical guidance.
Privacy policy and terms
This page explains how the product works and its limits. The privacy policy and terms of use are separate documents.
The website terms of use are available. The privacy policy is still being prepared. The links below lead to the documents and their current status.
