A detailed analysis of the data present in exercise entry files, focusing on categories, specified equipment, and indicated primary muscles.
Categories and Equipment in Exercise Entries
Every entry present in the catalogue reports specific information regarding its category and the equipment required for its execution. The analysis of these data points highlights structural differences between the various exercise files:
- Dumbbell hack squat: belongs to the 'Hips and glutes' category and indicates the exclusive use of 'Dumbbell'.
- Bodyweight sissy squat: placed in the 'Legs' category, it specifies 'No equipment (bodyweight)' as equipment with the option of 'Exercise mat (optional)'.
- Side step walk: catalogued under 'Plyometrics', it shares the indication of 'No equipment (bodyweight)' and 'Exercise mat (optional)'.
- Lying rear delt dumbbell row: recorded in the 'Back' category, it requires 'Dumbbell'.
- Barbell wide behind the back shrug: also belongs to the 'Back' category, but indicates the use of 'Barbell', 'Weight plates', and 'Barbell collars'.

Associated Primary Muscles in Individual Entries
The data on primary muscles show which muscle groups are catalogued in the respective entry files. On several occasions, entries with different categories share the indication of the same muscle groups.
Comparison on Shoulder and Torso Regions
The entry for the Barbell power jerk lists among its primary muscles 'Anterior deltoid', a label also present in Dumbbell front raise (version 3) ('Shoulders' category, which adds 'Deltoid'). 'Posterior deltoid' is instead indicated in the Lying rear delt dumbbell row along with 'Upper trapezius' and 'Middle trapezius', and in the Sleeper stretch ('Stretching' category) alongside 'Infraspinatus' and 'Teres minor'. 'Upper trapezius' also appears in the entry for Seated chair overhead stretch next to 'Erector spinae'.
Regarding the abdominal region, the file for Kneeling elbow to knee side plank crunch lists 'External oblique' and 'Rectus abdominis', whereas the Rings front lever indicates 'Serratus anterior' and 'Triceps brachii'.
Comparison on Leg and Arm Regions
Analyzing the files focused on the lower limbs, the Dumbbell hack squat indicates as primary muscles 'Quadriceps femoris' and 'Vastus medialis'. 'Vastus medialis' also appears in the file for Bodyweight sissy squat, combined with 'Rectus femoris' and 'Vastus lateralis'. 'Quadriceps femoris' is also recorded in the Barbell power jerk, which additionally includes 'Gluteus maximus'. This muscle is also present in Side step walk, paired with 'Gluteus medius'.
Finally, the 'Arms' category is represented by Dumbbell close-grip curl, whose file lists the primary muscles 'Biceps brachii' and 'Brachialis' using 'Dumbbell'.
